Artificial intelligence is increasingly poised to take on managerial roles, moving beyond its current supportive functions to autonomously make decisions and supervise human employees. Recent research, including a project involving the recruitment of over 100 people at an electronic manufacturing plant in China, demonstrated AI's capability in implementing managerial tasks, particularly in recruitment. Experts predict that AI will emerge at a managerial level within the next decade, initially in the tech industry, and then potentially in other sectors. While AI offers benefits such as increased efficiency, improved problem-solving, and 24/7 operation, concerns exist regarding job displacement and human managers' potential reluctance to work with technology that impinges on their decision-making freedom and status.
