The RCMP has established an AI policy and solutions team to develop a responsible framework for AI adoption, while Global Affairs Canada uses 'Document Cracker' for searching and monitoring vast amounts of documents. The CSE utilizes AI, particularly machine learning, to detect patterns in data and classify malware to defend federal and critical infrastructure systems from cyberthreats. CSIS plans a pilot project for AI tools in transcription, translation, and document examination. While AI offers efficient data processing, it also presents challenges that these agencies are working to address through policy and responsible implementation.
